5 WAYS TO BUILD YOUR LASH CLIENTELE FAST

In the lash industry, building a clientele is one of the most important things to get established early on, to grow and become successful in your career. If you’re struggling to get new clients into the door or need help with retaining clients, Today’s blog is for you!

1. UTILIZE SOCIAL MEDIA
Social media is an amazing tool everyone has at their disposal and it’s free! It’s all about showcasing your work & services and building a dedicated following who actually wants to have their lashes done by you. Don’t just post anything but make sure your posts are strategically targeting your ideal clientele.
Post your work in local facebook groups, follow and connect with local micro-influencers, public figures, etc., offer educational advice, FAQs and engage with potential clients.

2. OFFER AN EXCEPTIONAL LASH EXPERIENCE
Prioritize an exceptional customer experience from start to finish. You should always start each service with a thorough consultation, listen to what they want, always making sure the priority is the clients desired outcome, so you know exactly how to make them happy.
Always be professional. Dress the part, show up on time, finish on time, once your clients arrive it is their time to spend however they’d like and your time to treat them like a queen, take your business seriously if you want it to seriously support you.
Continue your education. If you want your clients to stay impressed with your work, then you need to continually keep bettering yourself and developing new skills and techniques.


3. HAVE AN IRRESISTIBLE REFERRAL PROGRAM
Word of mouth referrals are by far the best way for you to build your clientele, cost-efficient and valuable! If you go above and beyond to ensure all of your clients are happy and satisfied, they will no doubt tell others who their artist is and jump at the opportunity to help you out, all you have to do is ask. Ask for reviews online, give out your business cards to existing clients and let them know when they refer a new client to you, they get a special discount to show your appreciation. It’s that simple!


4. NETWORK IN YOUR COMMUNITY
Go out to other local businesses and introduce yourself! Put a face to the business and maybe even offer these businesses a special offer for their first time to get them in. It is so so valuable to support eachother, cross-promote and build relationships with other small businesses.


5. STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF
Lash artists should always strive to stay true to themselves, because we attract people who connect with us. If you love yourself and who you are then you will attract a clientele that vibes with you. If you aren’t staying true to yourself, you could attract the wrong clientele and in turn not be happy with the people you work around everyday. That;s 100% not the goal.
