KEEP YOUR CLIENTS COMING BACK AND WANTING MORE

Nov 10, 2023

Did you know that to be fully booked you really only need about 40-60 clients. Isn’t that eye opening!? As a solo lash artist, you can only handle so many lash clients in a day to have a healthy work/life balance and you want to stay farrr away from getting burnt out or causing any injuries.

So the main thing to focus on isn’t only getting clients in your doors but KEEPING them happy and coming back every time. I wanna tell you how!

Treat your clients as absolute queens! You want to keep them happy and satisfied with your service and experience! The initial interaction with them reaching out and making the leap to book with a new service provider can be scary so go above and beyond to make them feel comfortable with you from the start.

So now they booked and it’s the day of their appointment, greet them with a warm smile! Go over all the necessary information, have an in depth consultation so you are both on the same page. I like to be very up front in the beginning and tell them that lashes are very customizable so if they want to change anything at all we can do so at the end, this gives them the comfort of knowing they will be happy with the results.

After the guest lays down and you are ready to begin, make sure they are completely comfortable on the bed. Remember that they are putting a lot of trust in a new person to handle their very delicate eyes so you should be overly comforting and accommodating to make them feel as safe as possible.

After you have completed the service, hand them a mirror to check them out. Once you have made sure they’re happy, take time to go over all aftercare instructions so you both are confident in how to maintain their investment!

Of course a HUGE part of having lash extensions is making them long-lasting! As the artist, using the right professional products and having the knowledge to properly attach lash extensions that are secured and will last is vital. You want your clients lashes to still look amazing 3 weeks after getting them done. This is your job to make sure you’re doing everything perfectly and making sure you educate your clients on how to take care of the lashes and what will cause bad retention.

I guarantee that if you make the booking experience seamless and easy, provide a relaxing & comfortable lash service, get them their desired results and making sure they’re always happy with everything, they will be a loyal client forever and rave about you to all their friends!

I always say, It’s more than just another appointment, it’s an experience and an opportunity to truly care about someone and improve their life in a small way.
